Born
1953 in Switzerland to a Dutch mother
and an Italian father.
In the building trade since ca 1954
(on the left, one of my earlier projects).
Career was interrupted by a fabulous childhood,
schooling, travels, more schooling, jobbing,
co-ownership of a successful restaurant,
travels, a very interesting few years in
the re-insurance field in Zurich, more travels.
1984- immigration to the USA
and return to my roots as a builder.
Successful contracting business in San Diego
and San Francisco. Fell in love with Costa Rica
on my first visit in 1992 and moved here in 1994
to build LunaTica.
Back and forth between US
and CR since 1997. Moved back to CR
with my family in 2003.
Married to a wonderful Californian,
Kris, with whom I have two beautiful daughters,
Maya Lena (2002) and Kara Ana (2003). |
